Do Casino Slot Machines Run Hot or Cold? Here's How to Find the HOT Slot Machines.

Playing slot machines at the casinos can be exciting and a lot of fun. Playing them is much more fun when you WIN, of course, and the key to consistently WINNING on casino slot machines is to know how to find the slot machines that are running hot and paying out. Many people ask, "Do slot machines run hot or cold at given times?" There are two theories according to the so-called "experts who work in the industry." Such experts (who can be found on the web with their own "slot machine tips" websites") usually belong to one of two camps: the first camp of "experts" say that slot machines are run by computer chips that are totally random and that you have an equal chance of winning on any slot machine game at any given time. The second group of "experts" say that slot machines can and do run in cycles of hot or cold. Personally, based on my own years of experience of slot machine gaming, I believe that both theories are valid but experience also tells me that the machines DO run in cycles of a sort where they can be either cold, lukewarm, or totally HOT, baby! The trick is to find the machines that are running hot and take advantage of that before they cool off and start taking the money back.

The best strategy for finding the hot (paying) slot machines is to go to the casinos on slow nights (Monday-Wednesday) or in the off hours (after 2 AM) when the casinos are not crowded and more games are available to play. Say you have a favorite game you like to play -- mine is Mega Winner II. When I go into my favorite casino at 2:30 AM on a Sunday morning, the bank of Mega Winner games is most always free... nobody will be on them. I will sit down on one game and give it 20-30 spins at the minimum bet (one penny per line). If after 20-30 spins I get no good winning payouts or bonus rounds and am losing money, I will move on to the next Mega Winner game in the bank and try my luck there. I will do this until I get a machine that is actually paying out, or "hot." If none of the four games in the bank are paying out I will move on to another bank of slot machines and go back to my Mega Winner machines later. I routinely do this with all my favorite slot machine games and usually in the course of a night I will find a couple of "hot" slot machines. Bear in mind that this strategy works best in the wee hours when more of the slot machines are open, and there is no guarantee that you will find a hot game, but the more you move around from game to game the better chance you have of finding a game that is running hot and paying out. One thing you should NEVER do is continue to play on a slot machine that is losing, waiting for it to start paying out. If a game is just taking your money, get the hell off and move to another machine!

If and when you DO find a hot slot machine that is paying out and being generous with bonus rounds and "big wins" you should up your bet (how high is up to you). If it starts to cool off decrease the amount bet per spin, until you are sure the game has cooled off. If your "hot" machine goes 40-50 spins with no good payouts you can rest assured it has cooled off on you. Guaranteed, no slot machine will run hot forever, eventually they do cool off and will start taking the money back! Personally, I have found that the best time frame for finding the hot slot machines has been between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM, so this is the time I always go to casinos and I can honestly say that I win more nights than I lose.

So, to find the hot paying slot machines:
1) Go to the casinos on off nights or in the wee hours when more slot machines are available to play.
2) Give each slot machine 20-30 spins at one penny per line to test how it is paying out.
3) When you find a hot paying machine increase your bet to increase your wins.
4) Finally, know when a game has cooled off and either go home or move to another machine

Try this strategy out for yourself at your local casinos, and GOOD LUCK!
